I took this photo some time ago. It stayed in my mind. It was in the summertime on the beautiful irish land.
This week, when I started to think about the next movement session Finding our Boundaries – this image came back to me.
This picture reminds me of my vulnerable state – soft and gentle – prone to injury.
Just like this photo shows – behind the fence
“There’s a rhythm of engagement and solitude that helps me stay whole and present. Too much engagement and I fray around the edges. Too much solitude and I lose connection with my heart. So it’s a dance rather than a fixed state of being.” Hiro Boga
Without boundaries, we remain in the realm of formlessness.
Boundaries help us to be more truthful to ourselves. When we stay present and aware of our boundaries, we are able to share our true gifts, our unique self — with the world around us.
Come on Sunday to the next session Moving with Desires and explore the space of your boundaries – in your body and through the movement practice which is Open Floor.
